To provide your customers travelling on Air Canada with peace of mind, you may change their flight should they require a bit more time to make their connection. Please follow these procedures:
Applicable to:
- Air Canada 014 tickets (All fare brands)
- Flights marketed and operated by Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express
- Connecting city must remain the same
- Any connecting point in the itinerary provided the connecting city is the same
- Same-day connections
- Same origin and destination, including AC sister city and cities within 200 miles
Not applicable to:
- Requests made day of the scheduled departure
- Flights marketed or operated by other airlines
- Enable a stopover, defined as 4 hours and more for travel in North America and 24 hours and more for international travel on a through fare
- Change to origin/destination, except for AC sister cities and cities within 200 miles
- Shorten a connection time
- Connecting flight on other airlines
- Connecting flights on separate tickets
- Basic fares if the original code is not available
Procedures for Travel Agent
- Rebook in original booking class
- One-time change fee is waived per ticket; additional collection applies
- With Basic fares, original booking class must be available
- Enter ACP675227 in the endorsement box of the ticket, and exchange the ticket
- For direct bookings, please contact the Air Canada Contact Centre to facilitate this change
