A strong password helps you keep your personal information safe and prevent someone else from getting into your account.

Below are the criteria to create a password:

  • All passwords must be between 8 and 10 characters long, a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters (exclamation mark (!), at-sign (@), dollar sign ($), caret (^), asterisk (*) and underscore(_)).
  • Your password must be unique. Avoid the use of common words and easily predictable sequences, such as your User ID, name, telephone number, name of family members.
  • Avoid the use of a recognizable pattern, such as those linked to dates, months, etc.
  • The Master User/Agent ID password must be changed every 90 days. A change password prompt will appear when a password change is required. A password reset is mandatory.
  • The new password should not contain more than 3 identical consecutive characters in any position from the last 3 passwords used.
  • Do not write your passwords down especially when it can be accessible to others, including your agents.

 

***An email notification will be sent to all email addresses entered within the agency’s Master User profile when:

  • The email address was changed in the Agency Profile;
  • An Agent ID’s password was changed;
  • A new Agent ID# is created ***

 

A minimum of 2 email addresses are mandatory for the Master User ID 000 profile. If you suspect that your password has been compromised, change it immediately. Travel agencies are responsible/liable for:

  • Ensuring third parties do not have access to their password to prevent any misuse.
  • Any activities undertaken using their sign-in and password information, including any credit card chargebacks.
