Name Change Policy for Corporate

Air Canada expands its Name Change policy for Corporate and Air Canada for Business customers to include all markets.

Eligibility

• All points of sale
• Fully unused 014 tickets issued with a Corporate Contract number or an Air Canada for Business (ACB) PN number entered in the Tour Code box of the ticket
• All flights must be marketed and operated by Air Canada¹
• Tickets must be exchanged within ticket validity
• The tour code entered in the tour code box of original and new ticket must be assigned to the same Corporation/ACB account

Process for New PNR and Ticket Exchange

• Facilitated via the GDS of the corporation’s ticketing agency of record. For Air Canada for Business tickets and direct channel bookings please contact the Contact Centre
• Original PNR must be cancelled
• Create a new PNR with new traveller’s name
• Issue new ticket as follows:
1. Issue the new ticket in exchange of the original ticket at applicable fare
   When base fare is higher:  additional collection, change fee and name change fee apply
   When base fare is the same: name change fee apply
2. Tour code box of the new ticket must include the original Corporate or ACB Contract number
3. Endorsement box of the new ticket must include waiver code CORPNCHNG
   

Not applicable to:

• Basic fares and Flight Passes
• Partially used, expired tickets
• Other airlines tickets, and 014 tickets that includes flights marketed or operated by other airlines
• Name changes done at the airport

Prevent the issuance of a Debit Memo for the full fare value by entering CORPNCHNG in the endorsement box of the ticket, and by adhering to all rules of this policy. No exceptions will apply.
