- The purchase of a Last Minute Upgrade is not available for:
- Air Canada codeshare flights or flights operated by other airlines;
- Bookings with more than one passenger if one of the passengers does not want to purchase an upgrade;
- Bookings with more than one passenger when not all the passengers can be confirmed in the Business Class or Premium Economy cabin.

- Prices are based on each individual flight segment for which a Last Minute Upgrade Purchase is requested.
- Last Minute Upgrades are not available on all flights and markets and subject to availability in the Executive cabin.
- Prices vary by flight and by market and will only be determined and presented to the customer during the check-in process. The customer will have final purchase decision for all eligible flight segments of his itinerary.
- The Last Minute Upgrade Purchase fee is subject to all applicable taxes.
- The Last Minute Upgrade Purchase fee is not refundable.
- Passengers accumulate mileage, including Air Canada status mileage, as per original fare option they purchased.
- Air Canada cannot guarantee to provide Business Class meal service to customers who make a Last Minute Upgrade Purchase.
How to purchase a Last Minute Upgrade:
You can complete your Last Minute Upgrade Purchase:
- At Web Check-in, or on your mobile device within the 24-hour period prior to departure and, at least:
- 45 minutes prior to departure for flights within Canada;
- 1 hour prior to departure for flights between Canada and the U.S.;
- 1 hour prior to departure for all other international flights departing from Canada.
- At a self-service Check-in Kiosk, within the 12-hour period prior to departure and, at least:
- 45 minutes prior to departure for flights within Canada;
- 1 hour prior to departure for flights between Canada and the U.S.;
- 1 hour prior to departure for all other international flights departing from Canada.
