Eligibility:
To be eligible to the Status Offering (as defined below), you must:
- Be an Aeroplan Program member (“Aeroplan Member”) and have an account in good standing (Aeroplan Account”), all in accordance with Aeroplan's Terms and Conditions;
- Be a Marriott Bonvoy member (“Marriott Bonvoy Member”) and have an account in good standing (“Marriott Bonvoy Account”), all in accordance with the Marriott Bonvoy Terms and Conditions and
- Link your Aeroplan Account and Marriott Bonvoy Account by following the prompts available online ("Account Linking"). Account Linking is only available to Aeroplan Members who hold an eligible tier (“Eligible Tier”) per the Status Offering listed below. You can only link one Aeroplan Account with one Marriott Bonvoy Account. You can de-link your accounts at any time. However, if you choose to de-link your accounts, you will no longer be eligible to earn Points in accordance with these Aeroplan and Marriott Bonvoy terms and conditions.
Once you've completed Account Linking, you will automatically be granted the corresponding Marriott Bonvoy status (“Status Offering”) as described below.
Aeroplan Members are required to ensure that the account holder name in both their Aeroplan Account and Marriott Bonvoy Account match to ensure that the Status Offering occurs successfully.

Aeroplan Program reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to prevent or cancel Status Offering transactions where (i) the Aeroplan Program has reason to believe that the identity of the Aeroplan Member completing the Account Linking does not match the identity of the person to receive the Status Offering or (ii) where the Aeroplan Program suspects there has been any fraudulent activity connected with the Status Offering in relation to the Aeroplan Member’s Aeroplan Account.
Status Offering is subject to the terms and conditions of both the Aeroplan Program Terms and Conditions and the Marriott Bonvoy Terms and Conditions.
Status Offering per Eligible Tier:
- Aeroplan Members holding an Aeroplan Elite 50K status will be granted a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status;
- Aeroplan Members holding an Aeroplan Elite 75K status will be granted a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status;
- Aeroplan Members holding an Aeroplan Super Elite status will be granted a Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite Status.
Marriott Bonvoy Aeroplan Preferred Partnership Program
NOTE: These terms and conditions (the “Preferred Partnership Rules”) form the basis of the Preferred Partnership Program offered by the Marriott Bonvoy® loyalty program (the “Marriott Loyalty Program”) and the Aeroplan® program (the “Aeroplan Program”). Registration and participation in the Preferred Partnership Program will be governed by the Preferred Partnership Rules, the “Aeroplan Program Rules” and the “Marriott Loyalty Program Rules” (as such terms are defined below), which are the participant’s responsibility to read and understand. By submitting a registration request for, participating in or availing the benefits of the Preferred Partnership Program, participants agree to be bound by the Preferred Partnership Rules, the Aeroplan Program Rules and the Marriott Loyalty Program Rules.
General conditions of the Preferred Partnership Program.
- The Preferred Partnership Program, including but not limited to the Status Offering (as defined below), is offered by the Marriott Loyalty Program and the Aeroplan Program.
- Aeroplan points (“Miles”) accrued, awards and benefits issued, including those issued pursuant to the Preferred Partnership Program, are subject to change and are subject to the rules (the “Aeroplan Program Rules”) of the Aeroplan Program. The Aeroplan Program has the right to terminate the Aeroplan Program or to change the Aeroplan Program Rules, regulations, policies, procedures, conditions of participation, benefits, awards and special offers, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, even though such changes may affect the value of Miles.
- The Preferred Partnership Program is also subject to the terms and conditions of the Marriott Loyalty Program, including without limitation the elite membership program (the “Marriott Loyalty Program Rules”), which are expressly incorporated herein. The Marriott Loyalty Program has the right to terminate the Marriott Loyalty Program or to change, limit, modify or cancel the Marriott Loyalty Program Rules, regulations, policies, procedures, conditions of participation, benefits, awards and special offers, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice, even though such changes may affect the value of points or Miles.
- The Marriott Loyalty Program and the Aeroplan Program have the right to terminate the Preferred Partnership Program or to change the Preferred Partnership Rules, regulations, policies, procedures, conditions of participation, benefits, awards and special offers, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice.
- Registration and/or participation in the Preferred Partnership Program is subject to compliance with all of the Preferred Partnership Rules, regulations, policies, procedures, conditions of participation, benefits, awards and special offers, as applicable, that the Marriott Loyalty Program and the Aeroplan Program may, in their discretion, adopt from time to time, and which the Marriott Loyalty Program and the Aeroplan Program have the sole right to interpret and apply. Any failure by the participant to comply with the Preferred Partnership Rules, the Aeroplan Program Rules or the Marriott Loyalty Program Rules, or any action or misconduct by the participant that is detrimental to or is fraudulent in connection with the Marriott Loyalty Program and/or the Aeroplan Program may result in the suspension or termination of participation in the Preferred Partnership Program. In addition to the previous statement, and not to the exclusion of other actions the Mariott Loyalty Program or the Aeroplan Program may take, each of Marriott Loyalty Program and/or Aeroplan Program also reserve the right to prevent or cancel the Status Offering transactions where (i) there is reason to believe that the identity of the Marriott Loyalty Program or Aeroplan Program member does not match the identity of the person to receive the Status Offering; or (ii) there is reason to suspect any fraudulent activity connected with the Status Offering.
- To be eligible to the Status Offering (as defined below), you must:
- Be an Aeroplan Program member (“Aeroplan Member”) and have an account in good standing (Aeroplan Account”), all in accordance with [Aeroplan's Terms and Conditions];
- Be a Marriott Bonvoy member (“Marriott Bonvoy Member”) and have an account in good standing (“Marriott Bonvoy Account”), all in accordance with the [Marriott Bonvoy Terms and Conditions]; and
- To be eligible to the Status Offering (as defined below), you must:
- All calculations and determinations made in connection with the Preferred Partnership Program, including without limitation with respect to the accumulation of mileage, points and the satisfaction of the qualification requirements for Elite status, as applicable, in connection with the Preferred Partnership Program, will be made by the Aeroplan Program and the Marriott Loyalty Program in their discretion and all such calculations and determinations will be considered final. The Aeroplan Program and the Marriott Loyalty Program reserve the right to request further supporting documentation from the member to validate the satisfaction of the Criteria (defined below) but shall have no obligation to do so. The Aeroplan Program and the Marriott Loyalty Program reserve the right to revise or reverse their determinations.
- Bonus Miles, award Miles, or any other Miles earned or otherwise received through any conversion of Marriott Loyalty Program points through the Preferred Partnership Program (or through any other non-flight activity) do not count toward qualification for status in the Aeroplan Program, unless expressly stated otherwise.
- The accumulation of Miles, points, Elite status or any other status does not entitle members to any vested rights with respect to the Preferred Partnership Program, the Aeroplan Program or the Marriott Loyalty Program.
- Achieving higher status levels
- Members who receive complimentary Aeroplan Elite 25K® Status in the Aeroplan Program through the Preferred Partnership Program may reach higher Aeroplan status levels, but only by reaching the published qualification requirements as set forth in the Aeroplan Program. - Members who receive complimentary Gold Elite status in the Marriott Loyalty Program through the Preferred Partnership Program may reach higher Elite status levels, but only by reaching the published qualification requirements as set forth in the Marriott Loyalty Program Rules. Gold Elite status in the Marriott Loyalty Program that is granted through the Preferred Partnership Program may not be combined, added or stacked with any elite qualification requirements to achieve a higher Elite status level in the Marriott Loyalty Program. Eligibility and registration for the Preferred Partnership Program status offering.
- To participate in the Preferred Partnership Program, a participant must be a member of both the Aeroplan Program and the Marriott Loyalty Program.
- Account Linking is only available to Aeroplan Members who hold an eligible tier (“Eligible Tier”) per the Status Offering listed below. - To register a request for the complimentary status offerings of the Preferred Partnership Program (the “Status Offering”), a participant must meet the following qualification criteria (“Criteria”):
- To register a request for complimentary Gold Elite status in the Marriott Loyalty Program, an Aeroplan member must hold an active, validated account with either Aeroplan Elite 50K or 75K Status, or Aeroplan Super Elite Status in the Aeroplan Program at the time of registration for the Preferred Partnership Program. If validated by the Aeroplan Program, the member will be able to register to request complimentary Gold Elite status in the Marriott Loyalty Program through the Preferred Partnership Program. Aeroplan members who hold 25K or 35K Status or are base members in the Aeroplan Program are not eligible to register for complimentary Gold Elite status or any other Elite status in the Marriott Loyalty Program through the Preferred Partnership Program. Registration requests from members who otherwise meet the Criteria for complimentary status through the Preferred Partnership Program will not receive such status if the member already holds higher status in the Marriott Loyalty Program. Eligible Members who already hold Gold Elite status will be allowed to register for the Preferred Partnership Program.
- To register a request for complimentary Aeroplan Elite 25K Status, a Marriott Loyalty Program member must hold an active, validated account with either Titanium Elite or Ambassador Elite status in the Marriott Loyalty Program. If validated by the Marriott Loyalty Program, the Marriott Loyalty Program member will be able to register to receive complimentary Aeroplan Elite 25K Status through the Preferred Partnership Program. Marriott Loyalty Program members who hold Platinum Elite, Gold Elite, Silver Elite or no Elite status in the Marriott Loyalty Program are not eligible to register for complimentary Aeroplan Elite 25K Status or any other status in the Aeroplan Program through the Preferred Partnership Program. Registration requests from members who otherwise meet the Criteria for complimentary status offerings through the Preferred Partnership Program will not receive such status if the member already holds higher status in the Aeroplan Program. Eligible Members who already hold Aeroplan Elite 25K Status will be allowed to register for the Preferred Partnership Program.
- Completed registrations from members requesting complimentary status through the Preferred Partnership Program are subject to review and determination by the Aeroplan Program and/or the Marriott Loyalty Program as to whether the member meets the Criteria, and status from such registration requests are not guaranteed.
- Members who register a request for a complimentary status should allow 7-10 business days for their accounts to reflect the new status, if granted.
- Aeroplan Members are required to ensure that the account holder name in both their Aeroplan Account and Marriott Bonvoy Account match to ensure that the Status Offering occurs successfully.
- Aeroplan Program reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to prevent or cancel Status Offering transactions where (i) the Aeroplan Program has reason to believe that the identity of the Aeroplan Member completing the Account Linking does not match the identity of the person to receive the Status Offering or (ii) where the Aeroplan Program suspects there has been any fraudulent activity connected with the Status Offering in relation to the Aeroplan Member’s Aeroplan Account.
- Preferred Partnership Program Status Offerings granted to members who meet the Criteria are generally valid for a minimum of 12 months, and expire in accordance with the program rules of the respective program. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Marriott Loyalty Program and the Aeroplan Program reserve the right to determine the validity period of a Status Offering, which may differ from the programs offered by the Aeroplan Program and the Marriott Loyalty Program, respectively.
- Members of the Marriott Loyalty Program who meet the Criteria for the Preferred Partnership Program and who wish to enjoy the benefits of complimentary Aeroplan Elite 25K Status with the Aeroplan Program must register their request through the Preferred Partnership Program site.
- Members of the Aeroplan Program who meet the Criteria for the Preferred Partnership Program and who wish to enjoy the benefits of complimentary Gold Elite status with the Marriott Loyalty Program must register their request through the Preferred Partnership Program site.
- The Marriott Loyalty Program and the Aeroplan Program have the right to terminate the Status Offering or to change the Status Offering policies, procedures, conditions of participation, benefits, awards and special offers, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice.
General Information.
All capitalized terms used herein but not defined in these terms and conditions shall have the meaning given to them in the Marriott Loyalty Program Rules, as applicable.
Aeroplan to Marriott Bonvoy Points Conversion
Eligibility:
To be eligible to convert Aeroplan points (“Aeroplan Points”) into Marriott Bonvoy points (“Marriott Bonvoy Points”), you must:
- Be an Aeroplan Program member (“Aeroplan Member”) holding an active Aeroplan Elite Status (25K, 35K, 50K, 75K or Super Elite) and have an account in good standing (“Aeroplan Account”), all in accordance withAeroplan’s Terms and Conditions. ;
- Be a Marriott Bonvoy Member (“Marriott Bonvoy Member”) and have a Marriott Bonvoy account in good standing (“Marriott Bonvoy Account”), all in accordance with the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions.
Aeroplan Members can convert Aeroplan Points into Marriott Bonvoy Points (“Point Conversion”) at the designated ratio described below.
Aeroplan Members engaging in Point Conversion are required to ensure that the account holder name in both their Aeroplan Account and Marriott Bonvoy Account match to ensure that their Point Conversion transaction successfully posts to their Marriott Bonvoy Account.
Once Aeroplan Points are converted into Marriott Bonvoy Points, cancellation, changes, reissuance, and/or refunds of Aeroplan Points are not allowed.
Once Aeroplan Points have been converted to Marriott Bonvoy Points, Marriott Bonvoy Points will automatically be transferred to the Marriott Bonvoy Account. In most cases, Marriott Bonvoy Points will be posted to the Marriott Bonvoy Account in up to eight weeks.
The Aeroplan Program and the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program have the right to terminate the Point Conversion offering or to change the Point Conversion policies, procedures, conditions of participation, benefits, awards and special offers, in whole or in part, at any time, with or without notice.
The Aeroplan Program reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to prevent or cancel Point Conversion transactions where (i) the Aeroplan Program or the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program has reason to believe that the identity of the Aeroplan Member converting the Aeroplan Points into Marriott Bonvoy Points does not match the identity of the person receiving the Marriott Bonvoy Points or (ii) where the Aeroplan Program or the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program suspects there has been any fraudulent activity connected with the Point Conversion in relation to the Aeroplan Member’s Aeroplan Account.
Point Conversion is subject to these terms and conditions, and both the Aeroplan Program Terms and Conditions and the Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions, including the Marriott Miles to Points Terms & Conditions
Offers:
- Aeroplan Points may be converted to Marriott Bonvoy Points at a ratio of one (1) Aeroplan Point to one (1) Marriott Bonvoy Point.
- Aeroplan Members may convert up to a maximum of one hundred thousand (100,000) Aeroplan Points to Marriott Bonvoy Points per Aeroplan Member per day but not to exceed two hundred and fifty thousand (250, 000) Aeroplan Points per week.
- Points Conversion requires a minimum transfer of five hundred (500) Aeroplan Points.
Marriott Bonvoy to Aeroplan Conversion
Marriott Bonvoy™ members can convert their points at a rate of 3 Marriott Bonvoy points to 1 Aeroplan point. Plus, get an extra 5,000 Aeroplan points every time you convert 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. A minimum of 3,000 points are required. Transfer up to 240,000 Marriott Bonvoy points per day.

Earn Aeroplan on Eligible Marriott Bonvoy Stays
Aeroplan points can be earned on eligible stays. An eligible stay is defined as one or more consecutive paid nights spent at the same hotel regardless of check-in or checkout activity.
In order to earn Aeroplan points, reservations must be made directly with the hotel partner or through a travel agent. Reservations made through third-party online agents or consolidators, such as Expedia.com, Orbitz.com, Travelocity.com, Hotels.com, Booking.com, Priceline.com, etc. are not eligible.
Certain discounted hotel rates may not be eligible for Aeroplan points accumulation. Please contact the hotel directly for more information about whether a reservation qualifies for Aeroplan points accumulation.

- This Offer is only open to Eligible Participants. An Eligible Participant is an Aeroplan Member in good standing who is not an existing member of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program (“Marriott Bonvoy”).

- By taking part in this Offer, Eligible Participants confirm that they accept these Terms and Conditions.
- To be eligible for this Offer, Aeroplan Members must enroll in Marriott Bonvoy and select Aeroplan points as their earning preference within the Offer Period (defined below).
- Aeroplan Members who are already an existing Marriott Bonvoy member are not eligible for this Offer. Any newly enrolled Marriott Bonvoy accounts for an existing Marriott Bonvoy member may be merged into the existing Marriott Bonvoy account and are not eligible for this Offer.
- Offer is available for newly enrolled Marriott Bonvoy accounts opened between September 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 Eastern Standard Time (“Offer Period”).
- Eligible Participants will earn 300 Aeroplan points when enrolling in Marriott Bonvoy as a new member.
- Eligible Participants who select Marriott Bonvoy points as their earning preference are not eligible for this Offer and will not receive the Aeroplan points even if the other terms and conditions of this Offer have been met.
- The Aeroplan points awarded for this Offer can only be applied once to the Eligible Participant’s Aeroplan
- Aeroplan membership number must be included at the time of Marriott Bonvoy enrollment.
- Aeroplan points are issued subject to Aeroplan program Terms and Conditions.
- Aeroplan points will be credited to the Eligible Participant’s Aeroplan account up to 6-8 weeks after enrolling in Marriott Bonvoy.
- This Offer may be combined with other promotions/offers in the market during the same time; however, earnings are exclusive of each other.
