Because of the impacts of Hurricane Beryl, we understand that you may want to make alternate travel arrangements. If you currently have a reservation for travel to or from the areas outlined below, Air Canada has implemented a policy that makes it possible for you to make voluntary changes to your itinerary.
Mexico and the Caribbean
- Air Canada tickets purchased no later than July 2 for travel between July 4 and July 7, 2024.
- Itineraries which include a flight to, from or via Cancún (CUN) or Tulum (TQO), Mexico; Grand Cayman Island (GCM), or Kingston (KIN) or Montego Bay (MBJ), Jamaica.
If you’re scheduled to travel during the affected period, you can retrieve your booking to change your flight up to 2 hours before departure, free of charge, to another date between now and July 21, 2024, subject to availability in the cabin you originally purchased. Otherwise, any fare difference will apply.
Houston, Texas
- Air Canada tickets purchased no later than July 7, 2024, for travel between July 11 and July 15, 2024.
- Itineraries which include a flight to or from Houston, Texas (IAH).
If you are scheduled to travel during the affected period, you can retrieve your booking to change your flight, free of charge, to another date between now and July 31, 2024, subject to availability in the cabin you originally purchased. Otherwise, any fare difference will apply.
