The Program

What are the requirements for a company to join Air Canada for Business ?

Any North American company can join the Air Canada for Business program, provided it does not have an Air Canada preferred carrier/corporate agreement.

What are the benefits of using Air Canada for Business ?

Air Canada for Business is a program that rewards companies every time they book their business travel with Air Canada, our Codeshare and our select Interline Partner flights. In addition, Air Canada for Business gives your company the ability to:

  • Book Air Canada flights and car rentals
  • Book Lufthansa Group* flights
  • Easily track travel expenses and get detailed reports
  • Create and edit corporate and individual profiles
  • Create users and designate a Program Administrator, travel arrangers and travellers
  • Export itinerary information to the Microsoft Outlook Calendar
  • Continue to earn Aeroplan® Miles and Altitude Qualifying Miles for car and air reservations
  • Benefit from exclusive discounts, perks and promotional offers

Is there a cost associated with the Air Canada for Business Program?

There is no cost associated with enrolling in or using the Air Canada for Business program. The Program is designed to help your company better manage its business travel expenses.

Does Air Canada for Business have a reporting tool?

The Air Canada for Business online tool offers a report-generating option which your account Program Administrators can use to download a range of reports.

The Rewards

What bookings qualify towards a Tier level (rewards level)?

Only revenue from flown bookings made via the ACB booking tool or the Dedicated Air Canada for Business contact center are eligible for revenue tracking towards a Tier level.

Do seat fees or change fees count towards a Tier level (rewards level)?

Only the flight Fare (before taxes) from a flown tickets purchased in the ACB program are calculated towards a tier level.

Can booking made outside the Air Canada for Busines booking tool count towards a Tier Level (rewards level)?

Bookings made via an ac2u partner (Online Booking Tool) authorised to sell Air Canada for Business will count towards a tier level.

Do Flight Pass bookings count towards a Tier level (rewards level)?

Revenue is not added when a credit is booked, but rather when the Flight Pass is purchased in full or in quarterly installments.  Therefore, it can positively impact the tier level very quickly.

Once your company has enrolled, how will it be notified of the Air Canada for Business offers?

When your company reaches a new level, your Program Administrator and Corporate Officer will receive an email notification with details of the related offers and any redemption instructions.

The Enrolment Process

How does our company enroll?

Please follow the next steps to enroll:

  1. Visit aircanada.com/forbusiness
  2. Click Join Now
  3. Fill out the form
  4. Accept the terms and Conditions, and you're done!

What do I need to enrol?

You need to be a registered company with a 

  • Goods and Services Tax (GST) number  for Canadian Companies -or-
  • Employer Identification Number (EIN) for U.S. companies

You will also need to add:

  • Your company name and street address
  • Basic information on the person who will be designated as your company's Program Administrator and Corporate Officer

Where is the Air Canada for Business Account Number stored?

Your company's account number is stored in the account details section. Only your Program Administrator is able to view this information.

Who can enrol in the Air Canada for Business program?

The Program is open to businesses and not-for-profit organizations that are duly registered and doing business in Canada or the U.S. and who do not have an existing corporate agreement with Air Canada.

How is confirmation of enrollment communicated?

This information needs to be updated based on what the new onboarding welcome email will contain. 

Once your company has completed its enrollment, your Program Administrator and Corporate Officer will automatically receive a welcome email in which they will find your company's account number as well as your welcome offers. 

Your Program Administrator can then log into the Air Canada for Business application using the login information (i.e. email address and password) entered at time of enrollment.

How do I log into the Air Canada for Business?

From the aircanada.com homepage, click on sign in

Select For Business from the Dropdown list

Enter your Username credentials. (email and password)

Do I need to download software to use the Air Canada for Business online tool?

You do not need to download any software to use the Air Canada for Business  online tool. However, the tool is best viewed using Chrome or Firefox, or Microsoft Internet Explorer version 7 or higher.

How long after enrollment can I start booking with the online tool?

Account set up can be done immediately after enrollment,  the Administrator can add Travellers right away, and start booking.

Can a booking made via the Air Canada for Business online tool be retrieved on aircanada.com?

Bookings made using the Air Canada for Business  online tool can only be retrieved via the same tool.

Which airlines other than Air Canada qualify for the Air Canada for Business Program?

In Addition to  Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge and Air Canada Express, ACB program is offered on the Lufthansa Group Carriers as well as multiple other Partner airlines. 

Can promotional codes be used when for the Air Canada for Business program bookings?

Yes, you can use either Air Canada or Air Canada for Business promotional codes.

Note:  Promotional code discount will replace the level discount for bookings.

Flight Passes

Is it possible to purchase a Flight Pass using the Air Canada for Business online tool?

Flight Passes can be purchased exclusively on aircanada.com. To do so, go to the, go to the Flight Pass tab on the aircanada.com homepage, or paste the following address into your browser: aircanada.com/flight passes.

Can I use the Air Canada for Business online tool to book a flight using Flight Pass credits?

Yes, you can use the Air Canada for Business  online tool to book a flight using Flight Pass credits.

Will my company's Flight Pass booking expenses be tracked?

Yes, Revenue from Flight Passes purchased after account enrollment count towards the account tier level.

To associate the Flight Pass revenue to the Air Canada for Business account enter the Company ID (PN#) is in the Client Identifier box at time of purchase.

Can revenue from a purchased Flight Pass be tracked retroactively?

Yes, provided your  account was enrolled prior to the purchase of the flight pass.  

Send and email to acforbusiness@aircanada.ca  Provide your Company name and Company ID (PN #) as well as your Flight Pass reference number, for revenue tracking.
