Baggage Fee Changes

Air Canada is revising its checked baggage policy for customers who purchase an Economy Basic or Standard fare on or after February 28, 2024, for travel:

  • within Canada
  • between Canada and the U.S
  • between Canada/the U.S. and the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America

For those customers, checked baggage fees, per direction, will be as follows:

  • 1st bag: CA/US $35.00
  • 2nd bag: CA/US $50.00
