An any-time change is a flight change requested up to 2 hours prior to departure via aircanada.com or by calling Air Canada Reservations. Any-time change fees are per direction, plus taxes. Any fare difference (i.e. if the fare for the new flight you book is higher than the fare you originally purchased) will also apply. Special change and cancellation rules currently apply to all fares which do not offer unlimited free changes.

A same-day confirmed change is a flight change requested at check-in or at the airport prior to departure, on the day of departure. Same-day confirmed changes are subject to availability. Change fees are per direction, plus taxes. No additional charges for fare difference apply for changes made on the day of travel when flights are operated by Air Canada. Same-day confirmed changes can be completed at time of check-in. No changes are permitted with an Economy Basic fare.
