eVisa requirement for travel to Brazil

The Brazilian government has announced that, starting April 10th, 2025, passport holders from Australia, Canada and the United States will require an eVisa for entry into Brazil.

To apply

The normal processing time for eVisa applications will be 2 to 5 business days. Apply for your eVisaExternal site which may not meet accessibility guidelines and/or language preferences. well in advance of your trip to prevent any travel disruptions.

Cost and validity

• The cost of each eVisa will be $80.90 US
• Issued visas will have the following validity:
  • Passport holders from Canada and Australia: 5 years
  • Passport holders from the United States: 10 years
• The Brazil eVisa allows for multiple entries, with a maximum stay of 90 days per visit.
