Change Fee Waiver Policy: Mexico Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) Suspension

As of March 6, 2024 (V4)

Air Canada has implemented a Goodwill Policy to offer a change fee waiver due to the suspension of Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) documents for Mexican nationals. For more information on the suspension, please refer to the Government of Canada news release.

Original Travel Dates	Between February 29, 2024 and March 31, 2024
Rebooking Window	Up to and including April 30, 2024

Re-Protection Guidelines

Customers are permitted one free change as per the following guidelines up to 2 hours before departure.

Change of Origin/Destination	For partially used tickets, passengers may choose to travel to/from an alternate destination, change fee waived but ADCOL applies. Subject to ticketing rules. For wholly unused tickets, passengers may choose to travel to/from an alternate AC destination, change fee waived but ADCOL applies.
Endorsement	For Call Centres and Travel Agencies, use ACAMEXETA24 when processing a ticket exchange.
Refunds	As per fare rules.
Aeroplan Tickets	Please refer the customer to Aeroplan for handling (refer to Aeroplan - Contacts for the Aeroplan Schedule Change phone number).
