About Round the World Fares
Round the World fares are determined by the cabin class of service selected and the total distance travelled, in miles, between all of the cities you visit over the course of your itinerary. The following options are available:

About Round the World Fare Itineraries
To be eligible for a Round the World fare, your itinerary:
- Must include only one transatlantic and transpacific crossing.
- Must start and end in the same country, although not necessarily in the same city.
- Must last at least 10 days (7 days for customers commencing travel in Australia) between the first and the last international flight segment.
- May include only one crossing between Europe, Africa/Middle East and Asia.
- May last up to 12 months after departure on your first flight.
You'll need to contact Air Canada Reservations to complete your Round the World booking in the following cases:
- You intend to commence travel within 72 hours of booking.
- You are planning to include Cuba within your Round the World itinerary.
- You are a resident of Cuba, Ghana or Nigeria.
- You are travelling with an infant (under age 2).

Aeroplan points
As with most eligible flights operated by a Star Alliance member, you can earn Aeroplan points, which count towards Aeroplan Elite Status. As always, you can also earn Status Qualifying Currency (SQS/SQM/SQD) towards Aeroplan Elite Status. As always, you can redeem your points towards a wide range of Aeroplan rewards.

Saving your Itinerary
There's no need to rush when you use Book and Fly. If you need more time to review your itinerary, you're not quite ready to confirm your trip just yet, or you'd like to consult your travel agent first, you can still take advantage of Book and Fly. Simply build your itinerary with your preferred flights, then print it for your records or save it and retrieve it later on using your Itinerary Reference Number to purchase your ticket.
Keep in mind that saving your itinerary with Book and Fly does not reserve space on the selected flights – it simply maintains a record of your preferred flight options.
