This guide is designed to answer some commonly-asked questions about the Air Canada program, and offer some additional helpful information.

It depends on the ticket restrictions for the fare category purchased and as with most tickets, change fees may apply. If the fare category you have purchased allows for flight changes prior to commencement of your trip, then you are able to change to a later flight in order to take advantage of the Stopover program. It's important, however, to remember that flight changes are subject to seat availability.
No, the hotel stopover is available with end-on-end through fares only.
Yes, you can opt-in to the Stopover program after you have already completed your booking, as long as the change to take the stopover option is done 96 hours prior to your flight departure. Simply retrieve your booking by going to the Manage my bookings page, and click on the stopover reservation link on the right hand side of the booking details page.
Yes, the hotel stopover is offered on both outbound and inbound flights.

You can book a first hotel stopover en route to your destination and even opt for a second stopover on your return flight.
In order to obtain a refund, you must cancel your booking at www.aircanadastopover.aircanadavacations.com prior to 4pm (Eastern Time) the day of hotel check-in. For late cancellations or no-shows, the hotel booking is 100% non-refundable.
