Select your seats online in advance using an easy to use seat map for flights operated by Air Canada or Jazz.

Eligibility

You can select your seat online if:

You book your flight on aircanada.com., and
You’re travelling on a flight operated by Air Canada or Jazz. Seat selection is not available on codeshare flights.

If you didn't book your flight at aircanada.com, call Air Canada Reservations or contact the travel agent who handled your booking.

How to select or change your seat online

At time of booking at aircanada.com:

Once you’ve completed your ticket purchase, you can select your seats in advance for each of your Air Canada or Jazz flights.

After you have purchased your ticket at aircanada.com:

Up to 2 hours before your flight

Retrieve your booking online and select your seat

Please note that if the link is deactivated, for security reasons, you’ll be required to enter the credit card number used at time of booking before proceeding with your seat selection.

During check-in:

Within 24 hours of your flight

Check in online and select your seat

Get your boarding pass and select or change your seat at no cost from the remaining available seats! This option is also available at our airport self-serve check-in kiosks.

Standard advance seat selection

Tango Plus and Latitude
Standard advance seat selection is complimentary for Tango Plus and Latitude fares, regardless of destination.

Tango – Sun or International destinations
Tango customers enjoy complimentary standard advance seat selection when they travel on itineraries including Sun or International destinations.

Tango – Travel within Canada or between Canada and the U.S.
For travel within Canada or between Canada and the United States, Tango seat selection rates are as follows:

351 – 1000 miles

$17

Over 1000 miles

Advance seat selection charges are per passenger.
Your seat selection and any related charges apply to your entire one-way flight, including connections, from your departure to your destination city.
Tango standard seat selection charges are non refundable, except if:
- you are moved to a seat different than the one you selected due to an involuntary schedule or airport change (e.g. flight disruption, cancellation). Contact Air Canada Refund Services.
- you decide not to travel on your selected itinerary and you paid for Tango standard seat selection. The value of your Tango standard seat selection charge will be retained and can be applied towards seat selection on a future Air Canada itinerary.
