Air Canada employees always strives to ensure you and your checked baggage are transported on the same flights.
However, many factors, including weather and delays of connecting flights, can make this task challenging.
For those times when you are separated from your baggage, we will do our best to ensure you are reunited with your bags as quickly and effortlessly as possible.
Baggage name tags (external) are sometimes detached, torn or lost making it difficult to locate the owner of the bag. To facilitate the identification of the owner of the bag, Air Canada has created a baggage ID template for passengers to place inside their baggage.
We strongly encourage you to download, print and complete the baggage ID template. Once completed, insert this paper baggage ID inside your baggage.
Baggage ID card to download and print: Baggage ID card (24kb)
Note: This paper baggage ID is not intended to replace the external baggage name tags that should always be used.
