New Travel Document Requirements MONTREAL, June 8, 2007 - Air Canada wishes to advise passengers on all Air Canada and Air Canada Jazz flights that under the federal government's Passenger Protect program, all airline passengers who appear to be 18 years of age or older will be required to present identification prior to boarding aircraft beginning June 18. The ID requirement under the Passenger Protect program is for:
Until September 18, 2007, inclusively, an exemption requiring only one piece of government-issued ID without photo will be granted to passengers travelling within Canada who appear to be between 12 and 17 years of age.
