From Canada to International (code XB-X)

A security screening fee of CAD 0.15 per kilogram, subject to a minimum charge of CAD 15.00, will be assessed per shipment for unsecured cargo, based on actual weight. If the initial screening is inconclusive, the customer will be responsible for the costs associated to break down and repackaging of the shipment.

A security screening fee of CAD / USD 0.15 per kilogram, subject to a minimum charge of CAD / USD 15.00, will be assessed per shipment for unsecured cargo, based on actual weight. If the initial screening is inconclusive, the customer will be responsible for the costs associated to break down and repackaging of the shipment.

Shipments from Canada to the United States MUST have originated from a Registered Shipper AND must be screened either by an Approved Participant or the carrier (in this case, Air Canada Cargo). If screening is performed by the carrier, a cost of CAD / USD 0.15 per kilogram, subject to a minimum charge of CAD / USD 15.00 will apply. Shipments where the shipper is NOT registered cannot be accepted for travel to the USA on passenger flights.
